Ice Spice previews new single during Coachella performance
Ice Spice had a solid start to 2024, as she put out her first single of the year, in late January. That was “Think U The S*it (Fart),” as that went on to see an impressive number 37 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Furthermore, Ice Spice even earned her second commercial, in February. This was with Starry, as this was aired during the Super Bowl. That came over a month after her Dunkin’ commercial with Ben Affleck aired.
Meanwhile, it appears that Ice Spice’s second single of the year may be arriving soon. She performed at Coachella, on Saturday night, as she previewed a new single. Moreover, she performed this record as well, as it samples Sean Paul’s “Gimme The Light.” That record was initially released by Paul, way back in 2001, and appeared on his 2002 sophomore album, “Dutty Rock.”
Ice Spice’s debut studio album, “Y2K,” is also set to be released, sometime in 2024. This title is named after the Bronx rapper’s January 1, 2000 birthday. Spice initially announced this project, on Instagram, in December. Last month, Spice also revealed that the album has been completed, as a release date is still pending.
