Ice Spice goes platinum with “Deli” single
2023 was a massive breakout year for Ice Spice, as that came after initially going viral with her “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single in August 2022. Therefore, the Bronx rapper went on to create even more hits this year, such as “In Ha Mood,” “Princess Diana,” “Deli,” and “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj and Aqua. Moreover, the Princess Diana remix also featured Nicki. In addition to these records, Spice appeared on Taylor Swift’s ” Karma” remix. Spice’s endorsement deals are soaring as well, as she earned her own Ice Spice Munchkin Drink at Dunkin’, which also included a commercial with Ben Affleck.
Meanwhile, Ice Spice’s Deli single continues to reach even bigger milestones. According to Chart Data, it has now reached platinum eligibility by the RIAA. This comes after selling over 1 million units in the US. Deli was initially released in July, and went on to appear on the deluxe edition of Spice’s debut “Like..?” EP. Deli also reached a peak of number 41 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
To kick off 2024, Ice Spice is also nominated for This is for Best Rap Song, Best New Artist, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Song Written For Visual Media.
