Ice Spice’s “In Ha Mood” goes platinum
On Saturday night, Ice Spice reached a new major milestone in her career. This is being a musical guest performer on the premiere of the 49th season of “Saturday Night Live.” Moreover, she went on to perform hits such as “In Ha Mood,” as well as her new “Pretty Girl” single with Rema, which was released on Friday.
Meanwhile, “In Ha Mood” has reached a key milestone, as well. It has now sold over 1 million units in the US, and is now eligible for platinum certification by the RIAA, per Chart Data.
In Ha Mood was initially released at the top of 2023. Several weeks later, it went on to appear on Ice Spice’s debut “Like..?” EP. Furthermore, that project’s deluxe edition was released in late July.
Spice has been one of the biggest breakout artists of 2023, as she initially went viral in August. That was as a result of her “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single. The Bronx rapper has since gone on to put out other major records such as “Princess Diana” remix with Nicki Minaj, “Bikini Bottom,” and “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj and Aqua. Spice even appeared on Taylor Swift’s “Karma” remix.
