Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj’s “Princess Diana” debuts at No. 4 in US
Over a week ago, Ice Spice surprised fans by releasing the official remix to her “Princess Diana” single. As expected, the huge feature on there was fellow New Yorker, Nicki Minaj. That came after Nicki hinted at appearing on the remix, earlier this month.
Fans of both Spice and Nicki applauded their chemistry on this record, as well as the visuals for it. As a result, Princess Diana remix landed a major Billboard Hot 100 charting debut, for its first week.
As a result, Princess Diana remix has landed at number four in the US. Following the release of this remix, it was also revealed that Spice signed a partnership deal with Nicki’s newly launched Heavy On It record label. Nicki initially co-signed Spice last month, by calling her a “Princess.” That came after Spice appeared on Daze’s magazine cover, where she was labeled as “The People’s Princess.”
Spice’s Princess Diana record initially appeared on her debut “Like..?” EP, in January. That project contained six tracks, and was led by hits such as “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood.” Spice first went viral last August, for her Munch single.
