Iggy Azalea calls out Playboi Carti after attacking pregnant girlfriend
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Playboi Carti was arrested in Georgia, for allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend. The cause of that incident is said to be as a result of an argument over a paternity test. Carti is said to have been pushing her, while choking her.
This woman has supposedly been with Carti for two years now, and was 14 weeks pregnant, when the initial incident occurred on December 20. A bystander reportedly attempted to break up the fight, as she was able to get to her car. However, Carti began to attack her again. She attempted to use the car’s SOS feature to call police. When they arrived at the scene, they stated that the woman had injuries to her neck, chest and back. Carti has since been charged with felony aggravated assault.
Iggy Azalea is also speaking out against Carti, in the aftermath of this incident. She took to twitter to say that the rapper commits “serial abuse of women,” and she’s “been there and done that.” Iggy gave birth to Carti’s child, in 2020.
