iLoveMakonnen, newest signee to Drake’s OVO Sounds, committed homicide in 2007?

Although it’s Young Money until the end for Drake, he has branched out and placed more focus on his OVO Sounds record label. The label has become more of a headline-grabber when it comes to Drake than his membership of Young Money. A few weeks ago, Drake added iLoveMakonnen to the OVO roster.

Upon signing with OVO Sounds, iLoveMakonnen ended up doing various media rounds with all the major outlets. For many, this was their introduction to iLoveMakonnen and he received all types of positive reviews. How it goes with fame is that once a person reaches it, their past comes back to haunt him.

iLoveMakkonen had one story to come back and it is very haunting. It turns out, according to News-Daily.com, iLoveMakkonen committed a murder back in 2007. Nineteen at the time, iLoveMakonnen ended up shooting a seventeen-year-old boy in the head in the driveway of his home, killing him instantly.
