Business is definitely suffering for H&M, right now. On Sunday night, their “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” hoodie went viral. Unfortunately, it was controversy, and not sales, so H&M was immediately pushed to the defensive.
Despite ending the ad campaign, H&M could not stop what was happening, next. Several celebrities have pulled out of their campaigns with the company. On Monday, The Weeknd pulled out, and others followed suit.
Last night, G-Eazy also announced he was ending his partnership with H&M, which was due to launch this year. Sharing a deep message about racism, on his Instagram, G-Eazy explained his stance. Needless to say, at this time, he isn’t working alongside H&M.
