Anyone who has ever watched Irv Gotti in an interview knows he is a boastful guy. There was a time when Irv Gotti owned the charts. He was involved with records from Jay Z, Ja Rule, DMX, Eve, and countless others.
Irv Gotti told “The Breakfast Club” his second act, “Tales” on BET, would be bigger than all of his other work. While Irv Gotti is always talking big, “Tales” delivered. Episode one was based on NWA’s “F*ck The Police” record.
During his promo run, Irv Gotti stated the series would reverse races in episode one. Tonight’s episode followed the life of Brody Wilson (Matthew Noszka), a white man who was living in the projects, a neighborhood harassed by black cops, in a world that favors black people. At the end of the episode, Brody died.
