Irv Gotti Says DMX Had COVID-19 at The Time of His Death as Well Suffering Overdose From “Bad Dose of Crack” Which Contained Fentanyl in It [VIDEO]

Tomorrow afternoon, DMX’s funeral will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. This comes after he passed away earlier this month after initially suffering a heart attack on April 2. That was caused by an apparent drug overdose. X was on life support from the moment he was taken to a nearby hospital in White Plains, NY, as his brain function never improved.

Many still wonder what contributed to X’s drug overdose and now, Irv Gotti is speaking out with WGCI. Gotti helped X blow up as a star in 1997 and the two won big together.

Gotti says that X died from an overdose after receiving a “bad dose of crack” with also included fentanyl in it. When X arrived at the hospital, he was tested positive for COVID. From that point, he had difficulty breathing and he was hooked up to machines. Unfortunately, his brain and condition overall didn’t see any improvements leading up to his passing.

X has since seen his music streams increase significantly. “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” “Party Up” and “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” all hit the top three spots on the top songs chart on iTunes. His “The Best of DMX” compilation album also reached No. 3 on iTunes.
