Tekashi 6ix9ine recently stood trial to testify against the Nine Trey Bloods whom he had associated with before. He details how he was robbed by two of them last summer in Brooklyn of his jewelry. 6ix9ine’s driver also testified as he was with the New York rapper at the scene. He also said that Jim Jones was a member of Nine Trey in addition to Trippie Redd and Cardi B having gang ties. 6ix9ine is doing the snitching to avoid a 47-year prison sentence after being taken into the feds last November on racketeering, weapons, drugs, and murder conspiracy charges.

6ix9ine is now being labeled as the biggest snitch in the industry but some don’t think it will hurt his music career when he gets out of jail, which could be by 2020. He already came out saying that he doesn’t want to be in the witness protection program, but does want 24-hour security. T.I. came out saying that there’s already a lot of “rats” walking around so 6ix9ine will be safe. Irv Gotti is having the same feeling as well.

TMZ spoke with Gotti about 6ix9ine and the Murder Inc Co-Founder said he’s never seen a rapper like this (referring to 6ix9ine) because the new generation will still rock with him despite the snitching. He thinks this new generation accepts snitching, contrary to the era he grew up in.

“I’ve never seen a rapper like this,” said Gotti. “This is a first. I truly don’t know…What I feel is that, the new generation, I think he can put out a hit record and they’re gonna f*ck with him. They’re not like me or like the older generation who really have strong beliefs on snitching. You hear it now. A lot of people, you hear the comments [like], ‘I would snitch, too, if it was gonna hurt me.’ I think it’s a new world. It’s different than when I came up.”

Gotti added that during his era, 6ix9ine would have no more career, would’ve got beat up on sight and would’ve been bombed on but now, it’s a “new world.” Gotti is glad that his name wasn’t somehow mentioned because 6ix9ine snitched on as many people as he could. Check out his full thoughts below.
