Score is 114-69, as of press time, as hard as Boston has fought to rebuild, the Celtics have played their worst game in franchise history, tonight. What happened, tonight, shouldn’t take away what Isaiah Thomas has done this season. Sadly, it probably has, though.
Isaiah Thomas never got into a rhythm and, with his team down by more points than they scored at halftime, he never did. In a game like this, he deserves a pass for sitting out. No need to keep playing a pointless game and getting hurt.
The Celtics have gotten it handed to them, tonight, but the fans are blaming Isaiah Thomas. He got bumped, so he left the game, and he’s being accused of quitting. These fans show no mercy out here and Isaiah Thomas is their latest target.
