Last night, Isaiah Thomas was taken out of the game, but it didn’t even matter. There was a brief moment when it looked like the Wizards were going to dominate the Celtics, once again. Through the series, the Wizards have won every first quarter.
However, the Boston Celtics changed all of that, last night, fighting back after the Wizards scored the first four points. Following that, it was all about the Celtics. Instead of Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley stepped up and won the game for Boston.
During the post-game press conference, Isaiah Thomas talked about how he stepped back and worked as a playmaker. He said he was happy about the Celtics’ team play and organizing behind Avery Bradley, who made him proud. But, he also acknowledged that they need to stop the Wizards in DC, because they are a very capable team.
