Just the day before the playoffs, Isaiah Thomas received some of the worst news any person can receive. He found out his sister died in a tragic car accident and then he had to go out and play. It had to have been hard, but Thomas didn’t let his team down, he led them to wins.
Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics to an improbable comeback win against the Washington Wizards, last night. The game included an epic shootout with John Wall, where Thomas also came from behind in scoring to win. After the game, he did the post-game interview with David Aldridge, where he said it was his sister inspiring all of this strong play.
