After taking the better part of two years off, J. Cole is back in a major way. The last true public appearance J. Cole made was when he was with Jay Z, Usher, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Rihanna, and more for the TIDAL launch. Later, he would release his album documentary.
J. Cole then returned yesterday to reveal he had a new album dropping next week. The album, 4 Your Eyez Only, instead dropped with his 40 minute TIDAL documentary. All morning long, J. Cole has been the leading topic on social media.
Much focus has turned to “False Prophets,” as J. Cole is taking shots at several rappers. Many have agreed he is speaking to Kanye West in the first part, but the second part has them questioning if Drake or Wale is his focus. By the look of things, Wale is the target and fans are debating that now.
