J. Cole explains “Crooked Smile” concept with TLC on FUSE TV [VIDEO]

Earlier today, J. Cole released the latest single off Born Sinner. Over the past week, there has been a lot of hype about J. Cole doing a single with the legendary group, TLC. Even though he represents the new generation of hip hop, J. Cole has a respect for the previous generations and he features them in his music.

On his last album, J. Cole scored a late spring/early summer hit when he linked up with a legendary veteran. Sensing the success of that single, J. Cole went back in and did his new single with TLC. It has been a little while since T-Boz and Chilli released anything new and they have new music in the works.

J. Cole recently talked to FUSE TV about his newest single. “Crooked Smile” is the name of the song that has been well-received. Very new, the song has a nostalgic feel with TLC featured on the record. During his interview, J. Cole explained the concept behind the new track.
