Last year, J. Cole proved good things come to those who wait when he released his long-awaited debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. J. Cole had released a series of popular mixtapes, but it seemed as if his album was never coming. When the fans least-expected it, J. Cole delivered his debut album, which was filled with hits.
J. Cole dominated the headlines for the weeks leading up to and following the release of the album. In the time since then, J. Cole has been out of the spotlight. Immediately after the release of Cole World, J. Cole said he was already working on his next album. The official announcement may not come for months, but there is plenty to keep J. Cole busy, with his “Nobody’s Perfect” single gaining traction and being on tour.
Currently, J. Cole is on the College Conscious tour, with Big K.R.I.T. and Fuse caught up with him after the first stop. During his interview, J. Cole discussed his own college life and his music.
