J.Cole’s first ever Dreamville Fest in Raleigh, NC had to be canceled last week due to the severity of Hurricane Florence. It was a difficult decision for Cole and the venue to make but safety was the first priority. Big Sean, Young Thug and SZA were also scheduled to perform.

At the time, Cole said that refunds would be made and the festival would have a rescheduled date. That is now happening as Dreamville Fest will now take place on April 6, 2019 at Dix Park in Raleigh. Fans who still have tickets from the September 15 date will still be eligible to attend this show.

“We battled with the idea of moving forward with the festival at this time or formally canceling the event,” said Dreamville Fest in a new statement. After receiving unwavering support from our fans and the community, we are excited to announce Dreamville Festival will now take place on April 6th, 2019.”

Due to rescheduling, hopefully the scheduled artists also remain the same but that could be difficult due to their own tour schedules. Check out the full statement from Dreamville Fest below.
