J. Cole reveals that he doesn’t charge artists for features
In 2023, J. Cole has been on a huge feature run. These have included BTS of J-Hope’s “On The Street,” Gucci Mane’s “There I Go,” Lil Durk’s “All My Life,” and much more. Meanwhile, Cole is now addressing some rumors, regarding his features.
Cole appeared on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast, and revealed that he doesn’t charge artists for features. Moreover, he denied rumors that he charges artists $2,000 for each word that he rap on a verse.
Meanwhile, J. Cole has been rumored to release his “The Fall Off” album, all year long. However, that release has yet to happen, as the new date is now expected to be out at some point in 2024. Cole’s previous studio album came back in May 2021, which was “The Off-Season.” As a result, that became Cole’s sixth straight number one album on the Billboard 200 chart, as every album in his career has reached this mark.
