Many of the “new generation” rappers have all released new projects over the past six months. A lot of discussion centers around who the top rappers in the game are, right now. Most would say it’s between Drake, Big Sean, Chris Brown, and Tyga.
A name often left out of the equation is J. Cole, who surprised the world with 2014 Forest Hills Drive at the end of last year. The album immediately began selling and is close to platinum. Keep in mind, the project was just released only two months ago.
J. Cole is not only selling well, he is doing good on the road, too. Already, his shows in New York City and Los Angeles are living up to the hype. Apparently, Fayetteville’s own sold out both Madison Square Garden and Staples Center in minutes.
