J. Cole’s “No Role Modelz” reaches 2 billion Spotify streams
Over the past 13 years, J. Cole has created plenty of classic hits. Among those came back in 2014, on his third studio album, “2014 Forest Hills Drive.” This record was “No Role Modelz,” which instantly became a massive fan-favorite on that project.
Meanwhile, No Role Modelz has eclipsed another major milestone. This is that it has now surpassed 2 billion Spotify streams. Furthermore, this record peaked at number 36 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is also at diamond status in the US.
2014 Forest Hills Drive contained 13 songs in total, and went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, it also became Cole’s third straight number one album, as all six of his studio albums have reached this milestone.
Meanwhile, J. Cole fans now hope that his “The Fall Off” album will finally arrive in 2024. This project has been rumored to be released, since 2022. His last studio album came in 2021, which was his “The Off-Season” album, in May 2021. Cole’s last project overall was his “D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape” with DJ Drama in April 2022, with his Dreamville record label.
