J. Cole’s “No Role Modelz” goes diamond
J. Cole is recognized by many, as one of the most influential artists of this generation. He is also viewed as one of the best rappers, in general. Cole has been in the spotlight since 2009, ever since appearing on Jay Z’s “The Blueprint 3” album. Cole has since scored six straight number one albums, on all six albums he’s released, in his career.
One of Cole’s biggest records to date, is “No Role Modelz.” This appeared on Cole’s third studio album, “2014 Forest Hills Drive.” This project was released back in Decembee 2014. Other singles included were “Apparently,” “Wet Dreamz,” and “Love Yourz.”
No Role Modelz went on to be the biggest hit from Cole’s third album, as it peaked at number 36, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Now, it’s reached a new impressive milestone. It is now at diamond status, in the US. This is after selling over 10 million units, according to Chart Data.
One of the most notable bars from No Role Modelz, is “First things first, rest in peace Uncle Phil, for real. You the only father that I’ve ever knew. If I ever get my b*tch pregnant, I’ll be a better you.” To this day, No Role Modelz is still viewed as one of Cole’s best hits.
