Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies surprised the entire NBA. Morant led the Grizzlies to the NBA’s second best record. With that, the Memphis Grizzlies had their highest playoff seeding in franchise history. The Grizzlies finished with the second seed, tying a franchise record for wins.

Ja Morant played amazingly, but the Memphis Grizzlies were young. The Grizzlies ran into the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round. While the Grizzlies were the better team, their youth slowed them down. Minnesota came in and took Game 1, in a blowout, and then tied the series at 2-2. After the Grizzlies came back from 26 down to win Game 4, they took the momentum and won the series.

Ja Morant found out what it was like to play a championship team, when the Grizzlies had to play the Golden State Warriors in the second round. While it was a good series, the Golden State Warriors finished the Grizzlies in six games. Ja Morant was injured for the last two games of the series. As a result, Ja Morant’s offseason started early. Recently, Ja Morant was sneaker shopping. When the store owner met Ja, he jokingly played one on one with him. However, Ja was not joking when he dunked on him.
