The past few days have seen the hip hop world consumed with the ongoing beef between Meek Mill and Drake. This seemed rather unlikely, at one point. After all, Drake just did a feature on Meek Mill’s album, which was delayed for a year due to his prison sentence. As a result, few expected to see them going at it. However, it is what it is at this point.
Meek Mill apologized to Nicki Minaj for dissing Drake live in concert. However, the damage was done. This past weekend, Drake took to his OVO Sound radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio to release “Charged Up,” his Meek Mill diss. He came back, earlier this week, and released “Back To Back,” a freestyle diss.
Last night, Meek Mill finally responded with “Wanna Know” and he mentioned Ja Rule in one of his lines. Like all of the others, Ja Rule is on the sidelines watching this one play out. But, once his name was mentioned, Ja Rule went on Instagram to ask them which one was him, then pointing out he sold over 30 million records.
