Ja Rule says he is not involved in upcoming Fyre Festival 2

Ja Rule had an unprecedented run on top of the game, early in his career. After that, he became involved in a series of unfortunate events. First, 50 Cent came for him. Not only did 50 Cent come, but he also brought Eminem and Dr. Dre with him. Eventually, it all boiled down to Fyre Festival, which was rock bottom for Rule. He was only the face of it, but Billy McFarland’s event left people stranded on an island with paper plates. With Fyre Festival 2 launching, Ja Rule had to speak out. He has denied involvement.

Ja Rule somewhat unfairly receives criticism for everything he does. Fans associate Rule with the feud with 50 Cent feud. Some say that “ended” his career. What fans overlooked is that Ja Rule’s career was massive. He truly had hit records. In addition, Ja Rule was beyond consistent. It wasn’t uncommon to have three hit singles on the radio at once. On top of that, he normally had a collaboration with someone else.

Ja Rule no longer makes hit records. However, his career has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence. Fyre Festival was intended to launch a comeback. Instead, it led to him and Billy McFarland being hit with a $100 million class action lawsuit. While Ja Rule got out of it, McFarland went to jail. For whatever reason, McFarland is launching Fyre Festival 2. Recently, PEOPLE reached out to Ja Rule, and he made it clear he has nothing to do with this new festival.
