In the case of Ja Rule, everything that could go wrong eventually did go wrong. The Queens rapper landed in several unfortunate situations. A testament to his strength, Ja Rule managed to come back and still release a platinum album with top five singles. However, overcoming a federal investigation ended up being a bit tougher for Ja Rule.

After a failed comeback in 2007, Ja Rule ended his business affiliation with Irv Gotti in favor of launching his own company, MPire. However, Ja Rule and Lil Wayne’s wild 2007 night landed him in prison throughout most of 2012. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel for Ja Rule, who has obtained his high school diploma and a degree while behind bars.

This morning, Ja Rule updated the world on his status in prison. Earlier today, Ja Rule’s Twitter account was updated. Unclear if it came from Ja Rule, or someone from his team, his profile read February 21, 2013. Fans of Ja Rule swarmed after this tweet and Power 105.1’s Charlamagne Tha God was among those who re-tweeted the post.
