Jack Harlow Addresses Louisville Nightclub Shooting Which Left a Woman Dead and His DJ Indicted in Murder Case – “My Heart is Broken by The Events That Occurred Over Derby Weekend”

Over 10 days ago, a shooting occurred at a Louisville nightclub which left a woman dead and a man who was treated at a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Jack Harlow was also there as he had to make a run for it when the first shots were fired. His DJ, Ronnie Luciano, was also indicted this week on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the fatal shooting.

Now, the. Louisville native is speaking on the shooting as he took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday evening to do so. He expressed his pain in knowing that someone lost their life as well as his heart feeling broken for his city.

“My heart is broken by the events that occurred over Derby weekend. My heart breaks for Kasmira, (the shooting victim who passed away) her children, and everyone else touched by this tragic death. My heart breaks for my city, a place that’s been through too much pain already.”

Harlow also added that he’s been in touch with Kasmira’s family and is thankful for them being available to be spoken with. The “What’s Poppin” rapper also emphasized how many lives have now been changed forever as a result of this incident and he remains committed to making Louisville a better place.

According to TMZ, the shooting originally went down due to an altercation between a man and woman. A “scuffle” soon ensued and then, shots were let off. Kasmira was listed as the 37-year-old victim who died.
