Jack Harlow gets his own day, in hometown of Louisville

Jack Harlow has been one of the biggest artists to ever come out of Louisville, KY. He first saw his breakout in 2020, with the massive success of his “What’s Poppin” single. That record peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 6x platinum in the US. Harlow also saw a top five debut for his 2020 debut studio album, “That’s What They All Say.

Harlow is now being honored in his hometown. He took to social media on Monday night, to reveal that he has his own day in Louisville now. Harlow was given this honor by Mayor Greg Fischer, as December 18 is now “Jack Harlow Day,” in Louisville.

The honor stated how Harlow’s way with words and beats also earned him “untold fans,” chart-topping releases, and he gives back in meaningful ways. This also comes after Harlow demanded on IG, that an Atlanta-area police officer be fired, after pushing a Black woman by her neck, who was trying to get into his concert.
