Jack Harlow’s 2020 Breakout Hit Single, “What’s Poppin,” Reaches Over 1 Billion Streams

In January 2020, Jack Harlow finally got his big break, by putting out his “What’s Poppin” single, and that spread like wildfire. It ended up peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is currently 5x platinum in the US. Now, it has surpassed a huge streaming mark.
According to Chart Data, Whats Poppin is now at over 1 billion on-demand streams in the US. The single’s momentum never really slowed down, as it’s been used in TV ads, and also had a star-studded remix last fall. This included Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez.
What’s Poppin also went on to appear on the Louisville rapper’s debut studio album, “That’s What They All Say,” in December. That project saw huge success as well, as it debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, and is currently certified gold in the US. That album contained the remix of What’s Poppin, and also other huge collabs with Lil Baby, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, the late Static Major, and more.
Fans will also get to see Harlow perform What’s Poppin on his “Creme De La Creme Tour this fall. It kicks off on September 8 in Orlando, and concludes on November 19 in Indianapolis.
