Long before reality TV and social media completely took over and began a sordid marriage, Jackie Christie was often discussed. In the NBA world, many sports-related outlets called Doug Christie, Mr. Jackie Christie. Their unique lifestyle was often showcased and discussed.

Jackie Christie has since become a star, in her own right, due to being on the VH1 series, “Basketball Wives LA.” Here, she is shown as a dedicated family woman. At times, those close to her even say she can be overbearing.

This is why it came as a bit of a surprise when Jackie Christie was being accused of writing her oldest child off. She got attacked on Instagram for not being there for her daughter, when her child, Jackie’s grandchild, is suffering from severe burns. However, the daughter, herself, spoke out in response to the comments about Jackie.
