Three arrested in connection to fatal shooting of Foolio

In a significant development in the murder case of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio, authorities have arrested three individuals in connection with the tragic shooting that occurred on June 23, according to Action News Jax. Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones II, was fatally shot outside a Tampa hotel while celebrating his 26th birthday. The shooting also left three others injured.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) has confirmed the arrests of Sean Gathright, 18; Alicia Andrews, 21; and Isaiah Chance Jr., 21. The suspects were apprehended by JSO’s SWAT, CPR, and Gang Unit teams. Security footage from the scene reveals several individuals involved in a shootout in the hotel parking lot, highlighting the violent nature of the incident. It’s still unclear if the man who recently claimed he allegedly took a $10,000 bounty from rival Yungeen Ace is one of the suspects or not.

Detectives have linked the suspects to Jacksonville gangs ATK and 1200, and believe they targeted Foolio, who was affiliated with the 6 Block gang. Gathright is reported to be one of the shooters, while Andrews and Chance are implicated in various roles related to the murder.

Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw has announced that warrants are out for two additional suspects, Davion Murphy and Rashard Murphy, who are also believed to have participated in the shooting. The search for these individuals is ongoing as law enforcement continues to piece together the details of this violent crime.

This case underscores the pervasive issue of gang-related violence and its tragic consequences. As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The community remains on edge as they await further developments in this high-profile case.
