Over the past decade, Jacquees has been one of the most notable names in R&B. He’s even proclaimed himself the “King Of R&B,” as event in the title of his 2019 sophomore album. As a result, he’s been extremely consistent over these years, signed to Cash Money, and went on to collaborate with some of the biggest artists in the industry.
However, Jacquees has ran into some legal woes. According to Hollywood Unlocked, he was arrested in Gwinnett County on Friday night, at 1:26AM. Therefore, the singer was charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery, as well as a misdemeanor charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
Jacquees was able to post bond at 8:46AM, though. Bond was set at $3,700, as he has to pay $40 in order to be released. However, specifics of his arrest have yet to be revealed, as he went on to fly to Phoenix, AZ, after.
Furthermore, Jacquees’ “Sincerely For You” Tour will kick off on June 30, in Ft. Lauderdale. This will run until August 5, where it concluded in Atlanta. International shows will also follow starting on July 15, in Amsterdam. These dates are in promotion of his “Sincerely For You” album, which was released in December. That project contained 17 songs, including collaborations with Future, 21 Savage, Dreezy, Tory Lanez, and more.
