Jacquees hosts his 6th annual Christmas in Decatur Toy Drive

Plenty of artists decided to give back in their hometowns in various ways, for the Christmas holiday. These included events such as toy dives, gift cards, and much more.

Moreover, Jacquees also gave back in his hometown of Decatur, GA, for Christmas. This past weekend, he held his sixth annual Christmas In Decatur Toy Drive. This event was held outside of his childhood barbershop, Primetime Barbershop, from 11am-4pm.

Furthermore, this event was led by Jacquees and his One Step Forward Foundation, as they distributed over 10,000 toys, bicycles, TVs, and monetary gifts to over 100 families. Families waisted inside of their cars, as gifts were distributed based on the ages of children with them, as well as gender.

“Christmas in Decatur holds a special place in my heart. Being able to give back to the community that has given me so much means everything to me. It’s an honor to see the smiles on the faces of these families during the holidays.”

This event also comes a year after Jacquees released his “Sincerely For You” album. This project contained 17 songs, including collaborations with 21 Savage, Summer Walker, Future, 6LACK, and more. As a result, Jacquees also went on to venture on his Sincerely For You Tour, earlier this year.
