Jacquees releases Que Mix 5

The self-proclaimed “King of R&B” is back with his twist on some familiar favorites. Using his unique style of “quemix”, Jacquees releases the mixtape Que Mix 5. With 13-tracks, the mixtape includes unique covers of singles from artist like SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Erykah Badu, 4Batz and others. This is his first full length project following the cancellation of this 19 Tour.

Further building his r&b image, Que Mix 5 is the newest addition to the “quemix” universe. Before he hit mainstream his EP 19, took over the indie r&b world. Despite not being signed, his EP included features from Trinidad James, Rich Homie Quan and Chris Brown. His debut album 4275 under Cash Money Records hit the charts in 2016. A leading single from the album “B.E.D”, stayed on the Billboard charts for seven consecutive weeks straight. That album also included features from Young Thug, Chris Brown, Dej Loaf and Trey Songz. Jacquees has also worked with Kiana Ledé, K Camp, Wale and Tory Lanez.

Although successful with his own sound, his remixes are ones fans wait all year for. In the past he remixed Ella Mai’s single “Trip” and Summer Walker’s single “Playing Games”. This latest release includes covers of  “Snooze“, “Dead Man Walking” and “act ii:date @8”.  Despite his tour cancellation, Jacquees has already confirmed the title for his next album Mood 2 via Instagram.
