The saying the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree holds true in this father and son duo. Jaewon the son of famous rapper Jadakiss, shows off his rapping skills in a new freestyle. The 26 year old, graced the microphone with his version of his father’s single “Put Ya Hands Up”. He performed the freestyle on the podcast show My Train of Thoughts, shocking the hosts and fans with how much he sounds like his father.
When your father is a rap legend, it’s only natural to follow pursuit. Jadakiss is arguably one of the most underrated rappers from the 1990’s. Starting out as the third member of the famous rap group The Lox aside Styles P and Sheek Louch, Jadakiss’s unique sound propelled him into a solo career. His debut solo album Kiss The Game Goodbye, reached the top five on the billboard charts. His second album Kiss of Death also received critical acclaim. Popular singles from Jadakiss includes “Knock Ya Self Out”, “Put Ya Hands Up” and “We Gonna Make It”.
