Throughout the first season and a half of “Empire,” Jamal (Jussie Smollett) has been gay. However, when Skye Summers (Alicia Keys) entered the picture, the two soon shared a kiss. This has left “Empire” fans with mixed opinions.
In some ways, Lee Daniels based the character of Jamal on himself, especially his childhood. But, if there was ever any woman to turn a man straight, it would be Alicia Keys. Regardless of if it is really her, or her playing the role of a TV character.
Back to the “Empire” realm, Jamal has his hands full with Skye Summers and he seems to be okay with that. Lucious (Terrence Howard) walked in on Jamal and Skye flirting and began to question his son, saying she “fixed” him. This, along with Jamal seemingly going straight, sent Twitter into a frenzy.
