Towards the end of the winter season of “Empire,” it looked as if Jamal (Jussie Smollett) would be straight, afterall. At the time, he was getting close to Skye Summers (Alicia Keys). Immediately, Lucious (Terrence Howard) picked up on it and celebrated her “fixing” Jamal.
Since “Empire” returned, there have only been a handful of mentions about Skye. Lucious infamously used Jamal getting with Skye to sabotage his chances of winning the ASAs. In order to secure his position and win, Jamal is willing to do whatever it takes.
Pressuring the ASAs producer, D-Major, Jamal began to annoy him, leading to a confrontation. Following this, D-Major embraced Jamal and they had sex, instead of fighting, but D since blew him off, as opposed to embracing him. This has the Twitter world buzzing.
