James Harden drops 44 points, as the Rockets win a close Game 1 vs. Minnesota; Twitter says this game makes him the MVP, for sure, and the haters have to deal with it #HOUvsMIN #NBAPlayoffs

Honestly, seeing how the Rockets rolled through the season, this game was a disappointment. Yeah, the Rockets won, but this was a very close game. For a team that won 65 games, the Rockets struggled against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Houston Rockets are an incredibly stacked team and James Harden is their leader. Having him, plus Chris Paul and Clint Capela should have done more. This is even with the Wolves’ balanced attack, seeing Andrew Wiggins, DERRICK ROSE, and Jeff Teague lead.

In a game where Jimmy Butler only dropped 13 points and Harden with 44, it should have been a blowout. On the other side of the spectrum, given how balanced the Wolves were, they should have won, and without Harden’s efforts, they certainly would have. That is what Twitter is saying, as James Harden is crowned MVP, once again.
