The uprise in country trap is taking mainstream music by storm. As more artist emerge into the genre, we began to see some of raps biggest stars join the wave. One rising star in particular is Jamie Ray, the Florida native is making huge waves in rap and hip-hop. Taking the music game by storm, he’s added another huge collaboration name to his already impressive list. In a surprising appearance, Jamie Ray releases the single “Problem Solver,” featuring none other than Boosie. The video shows both Boosie and Jamie Ray rocking cowboy hat’s and riding four wheelers in the purest country fashion.
Jamie Ray is on fire as his brand and fanbase continues to grow by the year. Originally, Jamie started out creating rnb sounds before switching to a trap country esthetic. His 2016 mixtape Creepin, was received well by critics in both country and rap. He followed that release with the breakout single “16,” featuring Youngboy Never Broke Again. In 2018 he came back with another high profile feature from Lil baby on the single “How It Go.”
Now in 2023, Jamie released his debut Country Rap (Deluxe) album, receiving more critical praise. “Problem Solver,” is his first single release of the year.
