Janelle Monae was the one making all of the headlines, earlier this year. Since the summer, she has cooled off with her antics, though. It seems as if Usher took over, as soon as Janelle Monae stopped. The past few months have seen Usher out here serenading all of the high profile women. He’s done such a good job that a few high profile relationships ended. When Usher brought it to Janelle Monae, she immediately folded. In addition, she started dancing on him, putting that pressure back on him.
Janelle Monae rose to fame in the mid-2000s. However, she took over the reins of her career in the 2013-2014 period. During that span of time, she launched her Wondaland label and movement. She would sign her own artists and put out her own kind of music. As a result, she had the single, “Yoga,” which became a hit. Also, Janelle Monae returned in 2018 with her single, “I Like That,” which was a summer hit.
Janelle Monae traveled to Las Vegas and she attended Usher’s residency. Most artists end up doing residencies in Vegas and it’s a signal that their career is ending. However, Usher is making it look like the exact opposite. He’s gone out here and given his career a new life. Every time a high profile woman comes, Usher immediately starts singing to them. When he got ahold of Janelle Monae, she folded faster than the rest. But, she was also the first woman to put that pressure back on him, dancing on him.
