Jaren Jackson, Jr. is the defensive anchor of the Memphis Grizzlies. A couple of years ago, Memphis looked like they were well on their way to contention. Ja Morant got into trouble that effectively ended the Grizzlies’ 2023 and 2024 campaigns. In addition, his season ending surgery completely sank their chances for 2024. Somehow, the shorthanded Grizzlies still beat the Milwaukee Bucks. In the postgame interview, Jackson gave Doc Rivers all of the credit for that.
Jaren Jackson, Jr. has continued delivering solid play for the Grizzlies. However, with so many pieces unavailable, they have continued to lose. Already, the predictions for Memphis weren’t stellar. Due to his off court behavior, Ja Morant was suspended for the season’s first twenty five games. As a result, like the predictions stated, Memphis struggled. Upon Ja’s return, they returned to their winning ways. However, he opted for a season ending surgery, which officially tanked the season.
Jaren Jackson, Jr. and the “G League Grizzlies” defeated the Milwaukee Bucks last night. The Bucks are considered to be one of the NBA’s top teams. Already, they had Giannis and Khris Middleton. During the offseason, they traded for Damian Lillard. Also, Adrian Griffin was brought in as head coach. While they trailed Boston, the Bucks were outplaying their 2023 record. Still, Griffin was fired, and Doc Rivers was hired. They’ve struggled over since, ending with this loss, which JJJ gives Doc the credit for.
