Currently, the biggest hip hop topic is LeBron James and the Miami Heat. Ever since he joined the franchise, they have gotten to the NBA Finals every year. Their first playoff run ended in the 2011 NBA Finals, coming up short to Jason Terry’s then-team, the Dallas Mavericks in six games.
Jason Terry is now a member of the Sacramento Kings, but he will forever have the city of Dallas in his heart. He is back in Dallas healing from injuries and he, of course, is paying attention to the 2014 NBA Finals. The San Antonio Spurs are back in the finals and they blew Miami out after their air conditioner gave out.
During Jason Terry’s days with the Dallas Mavericks, they had a major rivalry with the San Antonio Spurs. The rivalry continued this year, with San Antonio beating Dallas in seven games in the first round. ESPN Dallas talked to Jason Terry and he said the AC outage comes as no surprise, as the Spurs always have “mishaps” in big games and he recounted stories of other outages, a bat, and even a snake being placed in the arena.
