On a near daily basis, Jay-Z and Beyonce are in the headlines and it seems like people are wanting them to fail. Until recently, they had nothing on hip hop’s leading powercouple, but the Solange incident showed cracks in the armor. Now, there are all types of stories circulating.

Earlier in his career, Jay-Z portrayed the role of a suave, self-centered, playboy, but he changed this image. With a change in his personal style, Jay-Z made it cool for hip hoppers to dress nice and be in committed relationships. But, maybe this change was not as authentic as some may think.

It is said that the selfish playboy routine never ended and the couple almost split in 2013.
