Jay-Z applies to become Major League Baseball agent

With his mind computer-like when it comes to business, Jay-Z is not a businessman, he’s a business… man. Jay-Z first uttered that line when he appeared on the remix of Rick Ross’ “Hustlin'” single. Since then, it has been (over)used by many to detail his business moves.

Jay-Z and Rick Ross are not as close as they once were, but they have taken turns being based by the media. Rick Ross’ verse on Rocko’s “”U.O.E.N.O.” has haunted him for months on end, with Ace Hood, Meek Mill, Slim Thug, and Rocko coming to his defense. In the case of Jay-Z, his trip to Cuba angered many.

Before this, Jay-Z was in the news for his plans to sell his stake in the Brooklyn Nets to launch his career as a sports agent. With the launch of Roc Nation Sports, Jay-Z has stepped into 50 Cent’s business lane. Victor Cruz of the New York Giants already signed with Roc Nation Sports and Jay-Z applied to the baseball league, Major League Baseball, to be an agent for baseball stars.
