Jay-Z gives his opinion on race in interview with OWN [VIDEO]

Hands down, Jay-Z is the most-influential rapper in hip hop history. The popular rap figure went from hustling in Brooklyn to doing high-profile parties with Oprah and the president. This is something Jay-Z isn’t too humble to mention.

Jay-Z began as the typical rap star, but he always saw more. Ultimately, he reached his goals and he is one of the great modern America success stories. A lot has changed in this modern era and Jay-Z made sure to be a part of it, playing a big role in Obama being elected as president.

Recently, Jay-Z talked to OWN’s “Master Class” and the topic was race. In his interview clip, Jay-Z shared an interesting theory on the racial situation. Even with everything going on, Jay-Z said he feels as if all of the races are more alike than they are different, one thing is for sure, everyone is human.
