So much was said about the Jay-Z/Dame Dash relationship and the less said from Jay, the more speculation there was. On Kingdom Come, Jay-Z referenced the situation, but did not go into detail about it. But, on The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z addressed Dame Dash by saying he wasn’t going to address him.
After a decade of being apart, Jay-Z finally addressed what happened with Dame Dash, saying they ended their business relationship. In the actual corporate world, people change partners all the time. Despite no longer working together, Jay-Z said he was still friends with Dash.
This year, the world has seen this friendship rekindle, as Jay-Z has reportedly retaken the Roc-A-Fella label, returned to Def Jam, and is developing more talent. He has already posed for a photo with Damon Dash and has more coming. When Jay-Z performed in Los Angeles, Dame Dash and his daughter, Ava, also showed up.
