Even though a lot of the biggest artists in the game are friends, tensions were high. Diddy reportedly wanted to get into it with Kendrick Lamar over “Control” and J. Cole rose to his defense.
Tensions soon got high and it led to Diddy and J. Cole getting into a fight, according to the rumors. When he took to Twitter, Diddy did confirm arguing with J. Cole, but did not directly speak on anything. A lot of people witnessed the situation, including such names as Jay-Z.
According to the reports, Jay-Z immediately rushed to protect the woman in his life and the mother of his child. As the two got into whatever that happened, Jay-Z only had one focus, which was protecting Beyonce. Trying to stop the fight, Beyonce stood up, but it was Jay-Z keeping people away from her.
