Within every person is the power to do what most would deem impossible. However, the people who reach those levels of success often draw major backlash. Years ago, Jay Z made himself a household name in the rap game and then he made everything into money.
Jay Z branched out into sports management back in 2013. This was when Roc Nation Sports launched. Among the athletes he signed to the roster was well-known fighter, Miguel Cotto, who had a bout with Canelo Alvarez this weekend.
Obviously, Jay Z bet on Miguel Cotto, as he is a part of Roc Nation. On the other hand, Oscar de la Hoya, bet on Canelo and he and Jay Z made a wager. In the end, Jay Z lost and he ended up donating $100,000 to charity as a result of his side losing.
