Music streaming is going on two decades, but it’s been the past five years when actual services were created to bridge the music industry to the music fans. This time period saw the invention of Spotify and other streaming services. But, now Jay-Z purchased Aspiro and TIDAL.
This evening, Jay-Z held a press conference to fully announce his new streaming service and his co-owners of TIDAL. The co-owners are Alicia Keys, two members of Arcade Fire, Beyonce, J. Cole, Madonna, Kanye West, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Calvin Harris, Chris Martin, Daft Punk, Jack White, Jason Aldean, and Usher.
