Jay-Z officially picks “Tom Ford” as next “Magna Carta Holy Grail” single

Hip hop’s ultimate mogul is Jay-Z and he came back when a lot of people really didn’t expect him to. This year probably meant a lot to Jay-Z in terms of putting out a new album. Ten years ago, Jay-Z “retired” from the game and he dropped The Black Album before leaving the game to focus on his businesses.

What Jay-Z was doing ten years ago was pretty big business with him having the clothing line, his stake in the Nets, owning Roc-A-Fella Records, and running Def Jam. It turns out, that would be nothing compared to what unretired Jay-Z would do. The Nets stake turned into Roc Nation Sports, the label situations became Roc Nation.

Running much bigger businesses and having a considerably larger fortune, Jay-Z still found time to rap. Magna Carta Holy Grail came out this summer and the “Holy Grail” single with Justin Timberlake is a smash. Now, Jay-Z has named the next single off the album, “Tom Ford.”
