Jay-Z receives an apology from Barney’s over recent race situation

Racial tensions are high for various reasons, mainly because of the Trayvon Martin situation. Because of this, everything that happens where race is involved is more controversial than usual. Few people have looked at what happened at the popular retailer, Barney’s, and not seen the situation as racial.

A lot of people have spoken out against Barney’s over what they did. After doing a bit of research, many learned Jay-Z was doing business with them. Since Jay-Z is the man people love to hate anyway, immediately fans began opposing him and calling for him to sever ties.

To have gotten this far in business, Jay-Z had to overlook some things that may not have been “fair.” Throughout this Barney’s ordeal, Jay-Z, himself, has remained silent about what is going on, but he released a statement. Al Sharpton came to his defense and now Barney’s has apologized to Jay-Z for how they acted.

Barneys’ Lee also apologized to music mogul Jay-Z, who is slated to launch a
clothing line with the retailer in November, and has charity dealings with the
store. “We deeply regret that these recent events have distracted from the great
work of the Sean Carter Foundation, and we offer our sincere apologies to Mister
